Why Mike Winton Realty and Auction? As a young man growing up in middle Tennessee, I have always been attracted to the whole process of Buying, Selling, Trading and Auctioning real estate.

At the age of 14, I would be the one chosen to deliver livestock to the auction barn, as my grandfather drove a school bus and scheduling didn’t allow him to go. I was hooked! My paternal grandfather's cousin had his own real estate company and auction service, as I was just a youngster as well. Mr. Scott Shappard, a well-known Tennessee Broker and Auctioneer from Shelbyville, was always an inspiration and mentor as I completed several purchases of property and other deals with him throughout the years before his passing. I guess you can say it's in my blood, and I love it. It's been said that if a person has a job he or she truly enjoys, they will never work a day in their life. Its taken me over 20 years to see this dream come true.
